Overview of Groups Theory. Recalls of restricted Relativity. Relativistic dynamics: elastic and inelastic collision both in the CM and in the Laboratory. Relativistic motion of charges in uniform and constant electric and magnetic fields.
Introduction to elementary particles: cosmic rays as the first source of these particles. Pion and muon.
Antimatter, positron, antiproton and antineutron. Strange particles. Introduction to the Standard Model.
VCKM matrix and CP symmetry. Recalls of Fermi's theory of weak interactions and insights
about the neutrino (evidence of existence, measure of its helicity, mass, oscillations).
