Learning Objectives
The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge of geological applications in water resources , fluvial hydraulics and works, civil engineering works, slope instabilities, geological hazards and risks evaluations

Course program
Principles of applied and environmental geology. Use of thematic maps. Introduction to geological risk (vulnerability, hazard and risk). Idraulical risk: fluvial processes, river floods
Idrogeological risk: landslides (classification and monitoring)
Volcanic risk: volcanic activity and products.
Hearthqueke and seismic risk:
Georesources. Methods and techniques for environmental analysis. Prospecting with electrical method.
