Reports, suggestions and complaints

The Joint Teachers-Students Committee to facilitate the resolution of critical issues in educational offerings and foster fruitful dialogue between the administration and students, has prepared this page.

Any student can submit  a report, suggestion or complaint, keeping in mind that they can also be sent to their representatives.

Anonymous communications will not be accepted. However, the Joint Teachers-Students Committee and all relevant individuals and/or bodies, in compliance with applicable laws, guarantee the confidentiality of personal data and the anonymity of students when discussing communications.

Procedure:

1. Sending the communication 
2. Receipt of the communication and evaluation of the content
3. Assessment of the merits of the communication and forwarding of the communication to the relevant subjects and/or bodies 
4. Response to the student - within 5 (working) days
5. Practice management (adoption of specific improvement actions)

Notes to the procedure:

The time frame for handling the file, consistent with staff resources and other organisational 

1. constraints, will be in relation to the urgency characteristics of the communication and the relevant parties;
2. Responses are sent by e-mail to students' institutional addresses (name.surname@edu.unifi.it)
3. All practices are periodically placed on the Agenda of the Joint Teachers-Students Committee meetings;
4. Competent entities and/or bodies are defined as:

• President of the Course of Study
• Head of QA course of study
• Student representatives of the course of study
• School President
• Teaching secretariat of the course of study

5. Evaluation of the communication means: a preliminary assessment of the merits and relevance of the reports. A detailed assessment is not carried out, but completely unsupported communications containing general, confusing, and/or blatantly defamatory facts are excluded.
