° Nato a Firenze il 17/12/1965.
° Laureato in Matematica presso l'Universita' di Firenze il 17/03/1989, riportando la votazione di 110lode/110.
° Nell'anno 1989 ha ottenuto una borsa di studio I.N.D.A.M. (Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica) ed ha pertanto frequentato il primo semestre di corsi della scuola I.N.D.A.M. tenutosi a Roma.
° Nell'anno 1990 ha ottenuto una borsa di studio del dottorato di ricerca in Matematica, V° ciclo, con sede a Firenze.
° Ricercatore di Matematica (settore MAT/05) dal Febbraio del 1992, presso la Facolta' di Scienze Matematiche, Fisiche e Naturali dell'Universita' di Firenze.
