The Manifesto of Studies provides that if you enrol in the Degree Programmes not at a programmed number at the national or local level of the University of Florence, you must take a entrance test of the incoming knowledge, mandatory but not preclusive to matriculation, to check your basic preparation.
The test of verification of incoming knowledge consists of the TOLC-S test provided by CISIA. On their site you will also find the payment methods of the test.
| The Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (L-13) has a local programmed number, therefore to be admitted you must take a specific admission test, which for the University of Florence is always constituted by TOLC-S. |

NOTE : The Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (L-13) is a local scheduled number course.
In order to enrol in Biological Sciences, you will need to take an entrance test.
The information on the number of places available and how to enrol with the relevant deadlines will be published within the A.A 2024-2025 selection call that will be issued by the University.
The TOLC-S test calendar is available on the CISIA website.
For the Florence office, the test takes place with the "TOLC at the University" mode in the computer classrooms of the 1st floor of the Plesso Didattico Morgagni, Viale Morgagni 40-44 Florence.
It is still possible to take the test at any university that is part of the CISIA consortium.

The test is passed by obtaining the score of at least 12 points on the TOLC-S, excluding the English section, of which at least 8 points in the Basic Mathematics section.
